A prática do futebol feminino no ensino fundamental

Um dos principais empecilhos para a expansão da prática do futebol feminino no Brasil refere-se ao discurso preconceituoso e estereotipado que predominou durante o último século. Para manter as mulheres afastadas da prática do futebol foram utilizados argumentos de caráter biológico, cultural e psicológico. Na Educação Física Escolar, enquanto o futebol constituía-se no principal, quando não o único, conteúdo das aulas dos meninos, às meninas eram oferecidos jogos e brincadeiras infantis e entre as modalidades esportivas podia-se encontrar o voleibol, o basquetebol e o handebol. O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar a situação do futebol feminino dentro do contexto escolar no Ensino Fundamental, procurando identificar quais são as modalidades oferecidas e qual a expectativa das alunas quanto a esta prática. Os dados foram coletados através da aplicação de um questionário a 70 alunas de 7. ª série do Ensino Fundamental, 5 de cada uma das 14 escolas da rede estadual do município de Rio Claro, SP. Os resultados indicaram que o futebol tem sido praticado pelas meninas na escola, sendo que 87,14% das alunas participantes deste estudo afirmaram já ter experienciado o futebol nas aulas de Educação Física. Porém, os meninos ainda dominam amplamente os espaços destinados à prática esportiva, especificamente o futebol na escola, de acordo com 88,57% das alunas. Quanto à preferência esportiva das meninas participantes do estudo, observa-se que o voleibol (53,52%) aparece como o esporte predileto, seguido pelo futebol (39,43%), havendo uma grande diferença entre estes dois e o handebol (4,22%) e o basquetebol (2,81%). Conclui-se que o futebol feminino passou a fazer parte do contexto escolar, embora a ocupação dos espaços destinados à prática esportiva ainda sejam predominantemente masculinas.

One of the main difficulties to expand the female soccer practice in Brazil refers to the stereotypic and prejudice discourse predominant during the last century. To keep the women away the soccer practices were utilized biologic, cultural and psychological arguments. In the scholar Physical Education, while the soccer was the principal, when not the unique boys classes contents, for the girls were offered infantile games and entertainment and between the sports modalities were volleyball, basketball and handball. The present study had the intention to analyse the situation of the female soccer in the scholar context of Fundamental Teaching, searching for identify the expectation about this practice. The basis were collected through the application of a questionnaire to 70 pupils on the 7th year of Fundamental Teaching, 5 pupils of each of 14 public state school from Rio Claro city, SP, Brazil. The results had indicated that the soccer had been practices for the girls in the school, 87,14 % of pupil’s participants of this study has affirmed that had experimented the football in the Physical Education classes. However the boys still largely dominating the spaces destined to the sporting practice, specially the soccer in the school, according to the 88,57 % of the pupils. About the preference of girls participants in the study were observed that the volleyball (53,52 %) appears as the favourite sport, followed by soccer (39,43 %), with a large difference between this two and the handball (4,22 %) and the basketball (2,81 %). It’s concluded that female soccer has passed to be part of the scholar context, however the spaces destines to the sporting practice are still predominantly male.
