The aim of this study was to characterize and to compare the procedural tactical knowledge (PTK) of soccer players, futsal and football of seven. There were 57 male players under-14 and 15 of which nineteen of soccer, nineteen of futsal and nineteen football of seven. To characterize the PTK of athletes was used the test of procedural tactical knowledge (TPTK). The chi-square test was used to compare the frequencies of tactical actions within different modalities. Moreover, inter and intra reliability protocols were carried out and the level of significant 0,05 was adopted. Results showed that the item two presented more frequencies between the soccer players in comparison to the football of seven. Moreover, the attack items were more frequents than the defense items. It was observed that the PTK scores were not different between the modalities. Future investigations about the PTK in different ages and level of expertise become relevant in order to optimize the teaching-learning-training process in these modalities.
