Futebol como teatro trágico: uma visão das torcidas a partir das crônicas de Nelson Rodrigues

Pretendo, neste artigo, a partir das crônicas esportivas de Nelson Rodrigues, analisar as conexões entre o futebol e a poesia, a fim de compreender o estado de entusiasmo que caracteriza as torcidas e a especificidade do laço afetivo que estabelecem com seus times. A análise das noções de apolíneo e dionisíaco, desenvolvidas por Nietzsche, aliada à visão poética do futebol de Nelson Rodrigues irá delinear o quadro interpretativo a partir do qual pretendo abordar as diferentes sensações suscitadas pelo esporte, o encanto diante da beleza, a emoção experimentada nos momentos dramáticos, e os diversos modos de interação que se formam entre a arquibancada e o campo de jogo.

In this article I intend to analyze the connection between football and poetry through the sports chronicles by Nelson Rodrigues in order to understand the enthusiasm that characterizes fans and more specifically the affective relationships they build with their teams. The analysis of the notions of Apollonian and Dionysian developed by Nietzsche, combined with Nelson Rodrigues’s poetic vision of football will delineate the interpretive framework from which I plan to approach the different sensations brought about from the sport, the delight from beauty, the emotions experienced in dramatic moments and the various ways the to interact that take place between the bleachers and the pitch.
