Since the first participation in the Summer Olympic Games, 52 athletes born in other countries represented Brazil and became Brazilians due to hereditary factors or naturalization. The migration of these individuals is related not only to sports but to a social movement that dialogues with several other social components. This work aims to present part of the trajectories of these individuals, highlighting the relevance they had for the Brazilian Olympic sport and discusses the relevance of the sport in the process of identity construction of athletes. As a methodology, we chose to work with Biographical Narratives, a work derived from oral history, but which allows the interviewee to highlight the main points of their lives. As a result, it is notable that the migration of sportspeople is a global phenomenon, intensified in recent years, yet it does not occur in isolation from the migration of other individuals.
