Sociological essays on sport

This book is a collection of different essays using the conceptual tools of sociology to analyze sport and its relationship with the broader social phenomena, thus aiming to explore, through sport and physical activity, many aspects of contemporary society, including identities, relationships, interactions, ideologies, interests, inequalities and conflicts. Luca Bifulco is Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Science of the University Of Naples Federico II. He teaches Sociology and Sociology of Sport.
