Representación discursiva de un triunfo en el periodismo deportivo: Brasil versus Perú en la Copa América Centenario 2016

El presente ensayo analiza la representación discursiva de la victoria peruana sobre la selección de Brasil en el marco de la Copa América Centenario 2016. Nuestro corpus se concentra en cinco medios deportivos impresos del Perú (Depor, Líbero, El Bocón, Todo Sport y La Kalle), desde dos días antes del partido hasta un día después, contabilizando 20 ediciones. Se plantea como hipótesis que la prensa deportiva peruana manejó un discurso ambivalente: en los días previos al partido presentó la posible victoria peruana como una hazaña o misión de difícil concreción, mientras que conforme se acercaba la fecha del encuentro sus discursos se revistieron de un gran triunfalismo, considerando la victoria peruana como algo posible. Junto a ello, también se hace foco en las repercusiones mediáticas del gol del triunfo peruano, convertido ilícitamente con el brazo por el jugador Raúl Ruidiaz.

This essay analyzes the representation of the Peruvian victory over the Brazilian national football team in the Copa América Centenario 2016. Our corpus focuses on five printed media sports from Peru (Depor, Líbero, El Bocón, Todo Sport and La Kalle), from two days before the game until the day later, counting 20 editions. It is argued that the Peruvian sports press handled an ambivalent discourse: in the days before the match it presented the possible Peruvian victory as a feat or a mission of difficult concretion, while as the date of the meeting approached, its discourses were covered of a great triumphalism, considering the Peruvian victory as something possible. Along with this, we also focus on the media repercussions of the goal of the Peruvian triumph, illicitly converted with the arm by the player Raul Ruidiaz.
