Esporte e literatura

Apreciar o intercambio conceitual entre esporte, especialmente o futebol, cultura e literatura é o principal objetivo desse artigo. Para tanto, é preciso entender a importância das práticas esportivas desde a antiguidade. Os jogos na Grécia e em Roma do período clássico faziam parte da cultura desses povos a ponto de colaborar com a formação de uma identidade comum que fortalecia os laços de união nacional. Daí é possível entender o pensamento agonístico nas relações sociais dessas sociedades arcaicas e a situação problema do atleta vitorioso ao se tornar um herói eternizado na memória coletiva da ‘políade’. Os jogos também eram muito importantes em Roma Imperial o que nos leva a pensar nas relações político-sociais que existiam entre sociedade e imperador através dos espetáculos oficiais da Cidade de Roma, capital do Império. Além disso, é necessário rememorar a história do futebol mundial e a origem do mesmo no Brasil. Assim como, buscar algumas incidências dessa temática na literatura brasileira.

Appreciate the conceptual interchange between sport, especially football, culture and literature is the main goal of this article. To do so, one must understand the importance of sports practices since antiquity. The games in Greece and Rome the classical period were part of the culture of these people to the point of supporting the formation of a common identity that strengthened the bonds of national unity. Hence it is possible to understand the agonistic thought in social relations and the situation of those archaic societies problem victorious athlete to become a hero immortalized in the collective memory of ‘ho polis’. The games were also very important in Imperial Rome which leads us to think about the political and social relations that existed between society and emperor through official spectacles of the City of Rome, capital of the Empire. Moreover, it is necessary to recall the history of world football and the origin of it in Brazil. Like, get some implications of this theme in Brazilian literature.
