Der katalanische Fotograf Horacio Seguí (87) ist das fotografische Gedächtnis des FC Barcelona. Von 1963 bis 2003 wuchs seine Sammlung auf rund 250.000 Fotos an. Der holländische Filmemacher Johan Kramer hat die Geschichte Seguís in einem Kurzfilm verarbeitet. Im Mittelpunkt steht hier die Freundschaft des Fotografen zur Barça-Vereinslegende Johan Cruyff, den er über die Jahre als Spieler und Trainer in Barcelona eng begleitete. Das Ergebnis dieser Freundschaft sind Fotos und Erinnerungen, die das außergewöhnliche Vertrauensverhältnis zwischen Star und Chronist widerspiegeln.

This documentary brings us closer to Johan Cruyff thanks to the vision of the Catalan photographer Horacio Seguí (Barcelona, 1930) who is also friend of the Dutch legend. The film is directed by Johan Kramer and includes an array of photos from Cruyff’s time in Barcelona as a Barça player and there are even images of a little known previous visit to the Catalan capital.
