Pra Frente Marias: convergências históricas, sociais e políticas identificadas entre o futebol e a palhaçaria protagonizados por mulheres

O futebol é um fenômeno sociocultural do século XX. A história da presença das mulheres nesse esporte possui convergência com sua inserção em outros domínios e o enfrentamento de resistências políticas, culturais, sociais e legais. O trabalho parte de um jogo de futebol feminino protagonizado por mulheres palhaças para discutir obstáculos encontrados por mulheres ao desempenhar funções profissionais em segmentos predominantemente masculinos. A reflexão abarca uma visão multidisciplinar e histórica, considerando a trajetória das mulheres no futebol e na palhaçaria desde o século XIX e o papel libertador e empoderador que ambas as atividades propiciaram a partir da consciência de si, do domínio do corpo, do direito à livre prática do esporte e ao riso.

Football is a sociocultural phenomenon of the twentieth century. The history of the presence of women in this sport has convergence with their insertion in other domains and the confrontation of political, cultural, social and legal resistance. The work stems from a women’s soccer game played by female clowns to discuss obstacles encountered by women to perform professional roles in predominantly male segments. The reflection encompasses a multidisciplinary and historical view considering the trajectory of women in football and in the clownishness since the nineteenth century and the liberating and empowering role that both activities propitiated from the self-awareness, the mastery of the body, the right to free practice sports and laughter.
