A malandragem no gramado

O presente estudo faz parte da linha de pesquisa do Mestrado em Educação Física da Universidade Gama Filho: “Fundamentos e Inovações da Educação Física”. Esta linha de pesquisa concentra-se na interpretação do fenômeno Educação Física em todas as suas formas de manifestações e representações a partir do estudo do cotidiano de diferentes segmentos sociais. Nesta direção, o estudo concentrou-se em investigar os sentidos, funções e representações, que são atribuídos à relação malandragem futebol. A natureza teórico-empírica do trabalho adequa-se bem ao objeto, isto é, buscou-se confrontar o conteúdo do discurso dos atores com as teorias da malandragem. Desta forma, o trabalho foi desenvolvido a partir do discurso da malandragem produzido pelos intelectuais e pelos jogadores de futebol do município do Rio de Janeiro. O discurso dos atores foi coletado através de entrevista semi-estruturada e analisado qualitativamente. Preocupou-se, na análise, com as oposições estruturais no discurso dos atores como: malandragem versus violência; “futebol arte” versus “futebol força”; pertencimento versus profissionalização; “amor” versus “interesse”.O futebol e a malandragem formam, por parte dos intelectuais e dos atores, um discurso de identidade do brasileiro. A identidade, por esta razão, é o principal eixo de análise deste texto. A questão que perpassa o trabalho inteiro é a discussão da singularidade que é atribuída à orientação de conduta chamada malandragem. Assim, no futebol ou na rua o malandro é identificado como um símbolo que parece constituir-se num mito da nacionalidade.

This study is an integrant part of a line or research the Master degree on Physical Education, Gama Filho University. Fundations and innovations in physical education> this line of research focus on the phenomenon of physical education in all its forms manifestations and representations starting with the study of the everyday in the different segments of society. Following this direction, out study is a investigation of the meanings, functions and representations generally a attributed to the relation rascality and soccer. The theoretical-empirical nature of this paper is well adjusted to its object, with is the confrontation of content of the actors discourse with the theorics of racality. The development of the work started with the discourse of rascality produced by intellectuals and by soccer players in Rio de Janeiro city. The discourse of the actors was collected trough semi-structured interviews, with a qualitative analysis. In the analyses there was a special concern with structural oppositions in the actor´s discourses with: rascality X violence; “soccer art”x “strength soccer”; belougness X professionalization; “love” X “interest” (“second intention attitude”). Soccer and rascality, according to intellectuals and actors, make up the discourse of identy for Brazilians. For this reason, the main axle in the analysis of this text is the item identidy. All throughout this paper there is a discussion on the singularity which is attributed to the orientation of the behavior known as rascality. Both in soccer or in the streets, the rascal is identified as symbol, which seems to become a nationality myth.
