Interview With Sohyun Cho, Two-Time Captain of South Korea’s FIFA Women’s World Cup Team

Abstract

Cho So-Hyun is a professional soccer player who currently plays as a midfielder for South Koreas national womens soccer team. Cho was born in South Korea, where she started her professional career. After starting in domestic clubs, she continued professionally by playing in several international leagues. She played for Tottenham Hotspur in the English Womens Super League. During her time at Tottenham Hotspur, she has taken on the role as an ambassador for AIA, the clubs global principal partner. Cho has also represented and captained the South Korea womens national soccer team. Playing for her home country, she currently holds the honor of being the most capped player for the team. Cho has received numerous domestic and international awards such as the 2015 Korea Football Association Footballer of the Year and 20182019 Womens Football Association Cup Finalist. This interview provides insight into Cho So-Hyuns professional career and the roles of communication in her career.
