Pesquisadoras do futebol: discussões a partir de duas trajetórias

O artigo se propõe a apresentar elaborações inicias sobre a presença das mulheres no universo das pesquisas sobre futebol, principalmente em relação àquelas que não pesquisam temáticas relacionadas às discussões sobre gênero como elemento central em seus trabalhos, destacando nesse processo a relação entre mulheres e o meio acadêmico. Para tal, discutimos a presença das mulheres na universidade e nos estudos sobre futebol, e realizamos entrevistas com duas mulheres pesquisadoras, buscando compreender algumas relações entre as mulheres, o futebol e a pesquisa. Embora os estudos sobre gênero venham crescendo nos últimos anos, levantamos alguns indícios de que a maioria das mulheres que estudam futebol no Brasil estão envolvidas com estudos que, não necessariamente, envolvem essa discussão e também discutem questões relacionadas ao futebol jogado por homens sem que o tema das masculinidades e feminilidades se torne central. Nas trajetórias de nossas entrevistadas, encontramos aproximações com a temática de gênero, além de processos de estranhamento e desconfiança por serem mulheres.

The article intends to submit initial elaborations about the presence of women in the universe of the research on football, especially compared to those who do not research themes related to the discussions about gender as a central element in their work, highlighting in this process, the relationship between women and the academic world. To this end, we discussed the presence of women in university and in studies on football, and we performed interviews with two women researchers, seeking to understand some relations between women, football and the research. Although the studies about gender are growing in recent years, there is some evidence that the majority of women studying football in Brazil are involved with studies that do not necessarily involve this discussion and also discuss issues related to football played by men without the theme of masculinities and femininities becoming central. Nonetheless, in the trajectories of the women we interviewed, we found approximations with the theme of gender, and also processes of estrangement and distrust because they are women.
