Textos que li e que escrevi sobre o futebol

Neste artigo, o autor descreve alguns dos textos que leu e escreveu sobre o futebol. Em particular, descreve sua teoria pessoal a respeito do interesse que os torcedores sentem sobre o futebol em todo o mundo. Segundo essa teoria, por inverter a situação de trabalho desde a Revolução Industrial, em que as pessoas trabalhavam de pé ou sentadas, sem movimentar os pés e exercitando por demais as mãos, o futebol vai atrair especialmente pessoas que continuam se considerando membros das classes trabalhadoras fora do local de trabalho, quando podem movimentar livremente os pés e também fazer descansarem as mãos.

In this article, the author describes some texts he read and wrote about soccer. He specially describes his personal theory about the interest supporters feel about soccer the world over. According to this theory, soccer, by inverting the position of people at work since the Industrial Revolution, standing or sitting, without moving their feet and exercising too much their hands, will attract especially people that keep on considering themselves members of the working classes when they are not working, when they can move freely their feet and also put their hands to rest.
