Torcida única

Essa pesquisa investiga os diversos impactos da mercantilização neoliberal do futebol sobre torcedores e jogadores dentro de um contexto neoliberal que intervém sobre esse esporte há décadas. Buscamos contribuir a uma análise específica e profunda sobre a recente medida de torcida única, ou seja, a proibição de torcedores visitantes. Relacionando essa atual medida com os principais estudos das ciências humanas sobre a condição torcedora em sua dinâmica histórica. Para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa documental na Folha de S. Paulo e no portal Só Derbi, tendo por finalidade contextualizar tal medida dentro do tema da complexa articulação entre economia e segurança do futebol brasileiro. Utilizamos como principais referenciais teóricos as principais obras de Elias e Foucault, dissertando de forma articulada através dos seguintes conceitos: controle da excitação, sociedade disciplinar e sociedade neoliberal. Estes conceitos, por sua vez, estiveram em diálogo com processos mais amplos desta mercantilização neoliberal, a saber: midiatização, empresarização e arenização. Por fim, a articulação entre bibliografia e análise de periódicos permitiu desenvolver nossa principal contribuição para os estudos do tema através de uma periodização da medida de torcida única (elaboração, aplicação e expansão) coerente com a dinâmica da mercantilização do futebol no interior paulista. Concluímos que essa medida funciona como um sofisticado mecanismo neoliberal de através de uma aparência de política pública de segurança promover adaptações no ambiente econômico visando privilegiar mais alguns sujeitos do que outros.

This research investigates the various impacts of the neoliberal commodification of football on fans and players within a neoliberal context that has intervened on this sport for decades. We seek to contribute to a specific and in-depth analysis of the recent single-seat fan measure, the banning of visiting fans. Relating this current measure with the main human sciences studies about the supporter condition in its historical dynamics. For that, it was carried out documental research in Folha de S. Paulo and the website Só Derbi, aiming to contextualize such measure within the theme of the complex articulation between economy and security of Brazilian football. We used as main theoretical references the main works of Elias and Foucault, disserting in an articulated way through the following concepts: excitation control, disciplinary society and neoliberal society. These concepts, in turn, were in dialogue with broader processes of this neoliberal mercantilization, namely: mediatization, empresarization and arenization. Finally, the articulation between bibliography and analysis of periodicals allowed us to develop our main contribution to the studies on the theme through a periodization of the measure of single fans (elaboration, application and expansion) coherent with the dynamics of football mercantilization in the São Paulo state countryside. We conclude that this measure works as a sophisticated neoliberal mechanism to promote, through the appearance of a public security policy, adaptations in the economic environment in order to privilege some subjects more than others.
